Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of all IT functions at UHS
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and efficient digital infrastructure
- Oversee development and maintenance of ERP systems, data centers, LMS, and university portals
- Manage the IT team, ensuring productivity, training, and compliance
- Collaborate with academic, administrative, and research departments to align technology with institutional goals
- Ensure cybersecurity best practices and data privacy protocols
- Develop and manage annual IT budgets, procurement, and vendor contracts
- Drive innovation in digital learning, AI, automation, and cloud-based solutions
- Represent the IT department in board meetings and academic councils when needed
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Information Systems / Software Engineering or equivalent (PhD preferred)
- Experience: Minimum 10–15 years in IT management roles, preferably in academic or public sector institutions
- Strong experience with ERP systems, networking, cybersecurity, data governance, and educational technologies
- Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional IT teams and projects
- Sound understanding of HEC digital compliance, procurement laws, and government protocols (preferred)
Required Skills
